Company: Aerospace Corporation
Since 1960 The Aerospace Corporation has operated a federally funded research and development center in support of national-security, civil and commercial space programs. Aerospace Corporation first partnered with VPSI to offer a generous vanpool benefit to its employees in the southern California facility. Company: Compuware
Compuware's Commuter Assistance Center, branded as “Local Motion” and operated by VPSI, provides ridematching for vanpools and carpools; access to public transit information (i.e., schedules, route maps, and pass purchasing); and matches employees wishing to bicycle or walk to work. After skyrocketing fuel prices surged above $3.00 per gallon, I sought alternatives to the daily commute from Northern Virginia to the District each day. Public transportation modalities are not the most cost effective and time conservative solutions.With continual maintenance and scheduling woes, I sought private alternatives via the Commuter Connections portal.
